![]() | Anthony Clint Jr. was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio to Anthony Clint Sr. & Maria Clint. You can truly say music has been an integral part of his childhood through his musical family who assisted fostering his interest in music from as early as four years old when he developed a curiosity for the drums. "Both sides of my family are full of musicians, singers, songwriters, rappers and producers. I remember waking up most mornings to my dad making beats and bass-lines with his mouth, while my mom was walking around the house singing! (laughs) Music is something that I've always had and always will have a passion for." This passion saw him move from drumming in his parent's church at the age of 7 to taking his musical gift to the next level by learning to play piano, which naturally progressed into music and audio production by the time he was 15 years old. "God has blessed me with a gift that many are not fortunate enough to receive and I never take that for granted. God has gifted me musically for a reason and I intend on using his gift given to me to the fullest. The possibilities are endless!" In 2005 Anthony moved to Columbus, Ohio to attend The Ohio State University. Graduated spring of 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Science In Human Ecology. At the university he was able to connect with some of the local bands and groups including The African American Voices Gospel Choir. This encounter saw him share the stage with artists such as Onitsha, Jonathan Dunn, Tonya Baker, Camille Betton, and Amante Lacey, an opportunity for him to watch and learn with some of the finest musicians in Columbus. This must have impacted on Anthony creatively, in the same year he was producing his first demo featuring his mother a singer/songwriter, and in 2006 recorded and co-produced his first jazz album with songwriter/saxophonist Devan Reed, which was released locally in Toledo, Ohio in 2006. His music can be described as a genius in the making with a style that is so unique you would swear this is how they recroded it in a studio with a full band sound. This producer is influenced by names such as Aarron Lindsey, Darkchild, Bryah-Micael Cox, Ryan Leslie, J Moss, Timbaland, and Waryn Campbell to name a few. Always challenging himself, Anthony developed his own production company Clint Productions LLC and is currently living in Atlanta producing Hip Hop, R&B, Neo-Soul, Pop and Gospel projects for local artists as well as other major artists around the U.S, who have caught onto his unique sound. "I often hear that I have my own sound. Whether it's playing keys or producing a track, it's something unique about the sound that catches the listener's ears. I love to hear that because I think it's really hard for musicians to develop their own style of playing or producing without sounding like someone else. I like to take what I learn from other musicians and producers and make it my own and I think that's the key to a unique sound." Anthony is on a mission to create great, timeless music with material that the entire family can enjoy worldwide. "I want to create real, meaningful music with substance and a new sound in the music industry. Music with positive messages and real life situations that people can relate to, coupled with a track that's so hot that they can't help but dance to. I aim to produce quality music for up and coming and established artists as well as have my music placed in television and film." This is a music producer with clear
determination and commitment, motivation and dedication to his craft that will
see him rise to greatness. |
